Mother’s Day was made even more festive yesterday by the fact that it was also my 29th birthday. We had a lovely day- french toast for breakfast, a party complete with appropriate hats, time spent gardening and sewing, phone calls to our own wonderful Mothers, a petite strawberry cake, and gifts and cards from family. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
As one of my cards said, it’s hard to imagine a year more eventful that this past year- a move across the country, a new house, and a new baby. 28 was certainly a year to remember! I’m looking forward to a less eventful year and plan to spend 29 enjoying my baby, my sweetheart, and my home.
